Drunken Meats and Seafood fest at Le Dupleix Pondicherry | Press Release

If you are a food lover and a connoisseur of alcohol, have you wondered what it would be like to combine the two? Your curiosity’s answer is the ‘Drunken Meats and Seafood’ fest from the 21st to 31st October at the Le Dupleix Pondicherry.

Known for its fantastic European and Creole Cuisine, Le Dupleix along with Chef Satish has created this exciting food festival with tantalizing flavors.

The new Al a Carte menu at Le Dupleix, Pondicherry will bring in some great flavors of European and Indian delicacies to the city by laying out a spread of meats and seafood that have been marinated and cooked in beer, wine and spirits.

The options are in plenty and meat lovers can start Drunken Chicken with lemon soaked in Tequila or choose the Tenderloin Steak that has been soaked in red wine on beer. With the Vermouth infused tiger prawns and the Pan fried snapper with white wine caper cream, seafood lovers will be in food heaven. The best of the lot is India’s favorite ‘Beer’-yani. As the name suggests, the aromatic rice is cooked with chicken or seafood that has been soaked in beer overnight and presented in the best way possible. Don’t just stop there; one must definitely keep some space for the beer or red wine ice cream and some top of the league champagne sorbet.
