How to Make Tea
Here is an easy and quick recipe for the ones who are still struggling with making a perfect ‘chai‘ or tea. Or for the ones who doesn’t know how to make chai.
Time Taken- 5-7 minutes, serves 4.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tsp Tea leaves
- 1 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 1 1/2 cup Milk
- 3/4 cup Water
- 1 Green Cardamom or Elaichi
Method
Put a pan on gas stove. Pour milk and water. Turn the gas stove on high flame. Add tea leaves, sugar and elaichi. Stir with a teaspoon. Boil the tea for at least 2-3 minutes.
Put off the flame. Now pour in the cups and enjoy the tea!

Tip: Don’t make tea of skimmed milk, it won’t taste good.

I love my Keurig because I’m lazy and convenience is awesome, but nothing beats a real, home brew. I’m happy to know that authentic (or pretty darn close) tea is not only quick and easy, but also delicious looking.

Well, I used to make it in a different way but made chai ur style today and the chai was really good in taste. It’s good to find such easy recipes here on Foodeezjunction.com 🙂

What kind of tea leaves do you suggest using?

I use CTC granules with longer leaves. I don’t know if you can find Tata Tea Gold at your place. If you find it (may be at an Indian store), go for it, that’s superb in taste 🙂 … Else find the one with longer leaves (CTC).
